The Vetra island by Studio Klass is intended to act as an autonomous object within the bedroom, defined by lightness and precision. Discreet yet architectural, it is designed to organize and support daily living while maintaining a clear spatial boundary within the wardrobe area.
The composition is structured around a reflective glass top set within a slim aluminum frame. The glass acts as a deep, mirrored surface, while the metal perimeter defines a precise outline that holds the volume without adding visual weight. This balance between reflection and structure gives the island a measured, suspended quality, reinforced by a beveled silhouette that runs continuously along all sides.
In the upper section, the edge resolves into an aluminum frame designed to accommodate both the glass and the Ecoskin top, ensuring material continuity and constructional clarity. Below, an integrated LED light illuminates the tray, introducing a functional layer that enhances visibility while remaining fully integrated into the structure.
The sides articulate two distinct roles. One panel becomes a structural support, anchoring the composition, while the opposite side opens into a set of drawers designed for refined, accessible storage. The front panels, available on both sides, can be customized in a range of finishes, allowing the island to align with different wardrobe configurations and material palettes.
Essential and self‑contained, Vetra is crafted specifically for the privacy of the bedroom. The design enriches the wardrobe environment with a storage element that is precise, functional, and timeless.
