Luca Nichetto was born in 1976 in Venice, where he studied at the Art Institute. Later, he graduated in Industrial Design at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice (IUAV), and founded his first studio, in Venice, in 2006. It was an opportunity to increase his product design experience. In 2011 he opened a second studio in Stockholm, Sweden. During that time, he began to go beyond the idea of the object and towards the interior design and architecture. During his career, Nichetto worked as an artistic director on several international events and won numerous international awards. Today, Nichetto works with a wide variety of Italian and international companies.
In 1999 he began his business career by designing his first products made from Murano glass for Salviati. In the same year he started his partnership with Foscarini for which, he designed projects, and worked as a consultant to develop new products and carry out material research.
