A stage, a building, a living space. For the first time Molteni&C and Dada have come together to present their collections, in a new advertising campaign about to be launched in leading national and international titles. Its inspirational element is a real show house with huge windows, built in the gardens of the company’s premises: here furnishing items and kitchen systems from both Molteni&C and Dada lines are strikingly displayed against a verdant backdrop. In the comfortable living area, Ferruccio Laviani’s Large sofa and furnishing accessories from the eclectic designer Ron Gilad complement re-editions from the new Gio Ponti collection, for instance the D.153.1 easy chair upholstered in Rubelli fabric; at the same time they provide pleasing companions for a contemporary design classic, Jean Nouvel’s Less, Less table. Completing the proposal is the 505 edizione 2012 bookshelf, now in a maxi version. In the resulting ambience relaxation is key, but this is also an exciting place in which to entertain guests and friends. The kitchen becomes an integral part of a modern, cosmopolitan style of living where functionality embraces rigorous design, from state-of-the-art technology to avant-garde. Two outstanding items from the Dada collections – Hi-Line 6 by Ferruccio Laviani and Banco by Luca Meda – fit perfectly with Jean Nouvel’s amazing suspended bookshelf and with the Montecatini aluminium chair, designed by Gio Ponti in 1935 and now re-made by Molteni&C.
