coffee tables

The Louisa Outdoor coffee tables by Vincent Van Duysen carry the same dialogue between material and form as their indoor counterparts, reinterpreted for life in the open air. Crafted from weather-resistant wood and reinforced cement, the collection preserves Van Duysen's signature refined contrasts in a design built to endure the elements — offering a sculptural contemporary centerpiece for elegant terraces, courtyards, and garden settings.

The tables are defined by a conical central plinth, which raises the structure from the ground and creates a floating effect. This load-bearing core houses a hollowed interior, delivering a sense of weightlessness while maintaining the strength and stability demanded by outdoor conditions. Transversal elements can be arranged freely, allowing users to compose their own harmonious clusters to accommodate the inviting outdoor living space.

These versatile tables complement exterior seating arrangements while serving as fully functional surfaces in even the most exposed environments. Their sculptural silhouette and fine materiality make them ideal for intimate al fresco gatherings or more expansive, open-air entertaining spaces.

Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen was born in 1962, in Lokeren, Belgium and graduated in architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint-Lucas, in Ghent. From 1986 to 1989 he worked in Milan and Brussels. He opened his own studio in Antwerp, in 1990 focusing on architecture and interior design. The relationship between interior design and architecture in his work is profound. Furnishings and accessories are designed with an architectural perspective that is not limited by form, but is expressed with a careful perception of interior space and its relationship to the exterior architecture. By interpreting architecture and redefining its proportions, Van Duysen creates objects of great purity and simplicity that still retain a concrete character and solid form.
