As a central gathering point for lounging in the open air, the Soleva table by Vincent Van Duysen embodies the dialogue between solidity and visual lightness that defines the Soleva collection. Its elongated, architectural frame in powder‑coated tubular aluminum establishes a clean, measured structure that anchors outdoor spaces. Fully stackable, the design brings thoughtful functionality to both residential terraces and tranquil hospitality environments.

The tabletop is offered in two innovative material expressions, each enhancing the table’s sculptural presence. The first is a single 12 mm slab composed of layered gres with a glass core, a technical construction that refracts light and creates a subtle play of brightness across the surface.

The second option is Technical Lava Stone, created through a special thermal‑fusion casting process that yields a surprisingly lightweight surface for its scale. This version highlights the tactile depth and natural variation of the material, offering a more grounded and expressive aesthetic. The tabletop is composed of two pieces of equal dimension, emphasizing balance and symmetry.

Paired with the Soleva chair, this table becomes the heart of outdoor living for shared meals, relaxed conversations, and the simple pleasure of time spent outside, immersed in nature.

Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen was born in 1962, in Lokeren, Belgium and graduated in architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint-Lucas, in Ghent. From 1986 to 1989 he worked in Milan and Brussels. He opened his own studio in Antwerp, in 1990 focusing on architecture and interior design. The relationship between interior design and architecture in his work is profound. Furnishings and accessories are designed with an architectural perspective that is not limited by form, but is expressed with a careful perception of interior space and its relationship to the exterior architecture. By interpreting architecture and redefining its proportions, Van Duysen creates objects of great purity and simplicity that still retain a concrete character and solid form.
