Embodying clarity in its sculpted silhouette, the Soleva armchair by Vincent Van Duysen brings a grounded feel to outdoor environments. Its continuous tubular aluminum frame traces a precise outline, softened by gentle curves that create a welcoming, enveloping shape. This armchair distills the essence of the Soleva family into one key outdoor element, inviting moments of pause and reflection for unhurried moments surrounded by nature.

Crafted for enduring performance outdoors, the powder‑coated structure is offered in the luminous tones each enhancing the armchair’s refined silhouette. The backrest introduces a warm material counterpoint through vertical slats in marine plywood, a recycled, resilient wood chosen for its elasticity and natural tactility. The EVA coating enriches the surface with a smooth, subtle softness, elevating the chair’s sensory character.

Seat and back cushions enhance this feeling of serene elegance: a supportive polyurethane insert wrapped in water‑repellent, fully recyclable fibers pairs with a gently yielding polyester‑fiber back cushion. Together, they create an inviting balance of structure and softness. The armchair integrates effortlessly into both lush garden landscapes and minimal contemporary terraces.

The Soleva armchair complements the Dalia tables while standing confidently on its own, enriching outdoor spaces with craftsmanship, comfort, and timeless design.

Design

Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen was born in 1962, in Lokeren, Belgium and graduated in architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint-Lucas, in Ghent. From 1986 to 1989 he worked in Milan and Brussels. He opened his own studio in Antwerp, in 1990 focusing on architecture and interior design. The relationship between interior design and architecture in his work is profound. Furnishings and accessories are designed with an architectural perspective that is not limited by form, but is expressed with a careful perception of interior space and its relationship to the exterior architecture. By interpreting architecture and redefining its proportions, Van Duysen creates objects of great purity and simplicity that still retain a concrete character and solid form.
