Seat and back cushions enhance this feeling of serene elegance: a supportive polyurethane insert wrapped in water‑repellent, fully recyclable fibers pairs with a gently yielding polyester‑fiber back cushion. Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen ist 1962 in Lokeren, Belgien, geboren und absolviert sein Architekturstudium an der Fachhochschule für Architektur Sint-Lucas in Gent. Von 1986 bis 1989 arbeitet er in Mailand und Brüssel; später im Jahr 1990 eröffnet er sein Studio in Antwerpen und befasst sich mit Architektur und Inneneinrichtung. Bei seinen Werken ist die Beziehung zwischen Interieur Design und Architektur tiefgreifend. Die Einrichtungsgegenstände scheinen in einer architektonischen Perspektive konzipiert, die sich nicht allein auf die Form beschränkt, sondern in einer aufmerksamen Wahrnehmung des Innenraums und dessen Beziehung zur externen Architektur zum Ausdruck kommt.
