Woody, designed by Francesco Meda, the chair presented to great acclaim at last year’s Salone del Mobile, is now joined by a small armchair.
A solid wooden framework, features harmoniously linked lines on which the hide leather-covered seat and backrest are placed. The seamlessly jointed, screw-free construction produces a lightweight, organic effect. The ergonomic design makes Woody comfortable, respecting the correct posture of the body. Particularly suitable for hospitality or domestic settings, such as bedrooms or conversation corners.
Born in Milan in 1984. Graduated in 2006 from Milan’s Istituto Europeo of Design in Industrial Design. The designer gained experience in London working at Sebastian Bergne’s studio and later at Ross Lovegrove's.
