Tucked within the iconic SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, this private loft exemplifies Molteni&C’s enduring commitment to bespoke design and Italian craftsmanship. Conceived by FORRM Architects, the loft is a testament to precision, material integrity, and architectural expression.
The project centers around two key interior focal points by Molteni&C: the meticulously designed closet and the sculptural Intersection kitchen. Together, they articulate a spatial narrative defined by material harmony, artisanal expertise, and contemporary form.
CUSTOM KITCHEN by Vincent Van Duysen
Designed by Vincent Van Duysen, the Intersection kitchen in rich thermo oak paired with Patagonia natural quartzite stone balances warmth with modernity. A contrasting palette of matt lacquered white-grey panels and open shelving imbues the space with rhythm and refined contrast. Handle-less surfaces and intricate joinery highlight Molteni&C’s mastery in merging innovation with craftsmanship.
Crafted to Dada Engineered standards, the kitchen not only stands as a centerpiece of daily life but also as a symbol of forward-thinking design, where beauty and function coexist in perfect equilibrium. Each material is selected to evoke tactile pleasure and visual depth, casting a nuanced play of light and shadow across the space.
