Crafted for enduring performance outdoors, the powder‑coated structure is offered in the luminous tones each enhancing the armchair’s refined silhouette. The backrest introduces a warm material counterpoint through vertical slats in marine plywood, a recycled, resilient wood chosen for its elasticity and natural tactility. The EVA coating enriches the surface with a smooth, subtle softness, elevating the chair’s sensory character.

Seat and back cushions enhance this feeling of serene elegance: a supportive polyurethane insert wrapped in water‑repellent, fully recyclable fibers pairs with a gently yielding polyester‑fiber back cushion. Together, they create an inviting balance of structure and softness. The armchair integrates effortlessly into both lush garden landscapes and minimal contemporary terraces.

Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen nace en 1962 en Lokeren, Bélgica, y consigue la licenciatura en arquitectura por el Instituto Superior de Arquitectura Sint-Lucas de Gand. Desde 1986 hasta 1989 trabaja en Milán y Bruselas; a continuación, en 1990, abre su estudio en Amberes concentrándose en la arquitectura y el interiorismo. En sus trabajos la relación entre interiorismo y arquitectura es profunda – muebles y complementos se conciben en una perspectiva arquitectónica que no se limita a la forma sino que se expresa en una atenta percepción del espacio interior y de su relación con la arquitectura exterior. Interpretando la arquitectura y redefiniendo sus dimensiones Van Duysen crea hoy objetos de gran pureza y esencialidad que sin embargo mantienen un carácter concreto y sólidas bases formales.
