The Phoenix Low Table is part of the Timeout Collection by Vincent Van Duysen, inspired by modernist architecture. The table's burnished metal frame features rounded U legs supporting a slatted tabletop in naturally finished teak. A contemporary silhouette that harnesses the strength and beauty of nature's elements.

Teak
Teak is a compact hardwood from tropical and subtropical forests in south and south-east Asia. Due to its ability to withstand temperature fluctuations and humidity, its greatest expression is found when used as solid wood to create refined woodworking details. For weekly cleaning, rub the furniture with a soft bristle brush and clean it with lukewarm water and pH-neutral soap. Use a microfibre cloth or sponge. Always rub in the direction of the grain. If pollution or mould has penetrated deep into the wood or the surface is damaged, we suggest sanding the surface until an undamaged layer is revealed. Always sand in the direction of the grain, starting with a coarse grit (P80) and gradually progressing to finer grits (P150–P220).
Metal
In order to maintain the aesthetic characteristics of these finishes over time and avoid rust, regular, methodical and meticulous cleaning is necessary. For everyday maintenance, dust with a soft dry cloth. For greasy oily marks (fingerprints) we advise cleaning the surfaces with normal liquid detergents for glass. Products containing solvents and/or alcohol and hard fibre cloths (linen and synthetics) should be avoided, as they could ruin and/or scratch surfaces. Require monthly maintenance with specific metal cleaning/polishing products.

His work is defined by a refined pursuit of essence, materiality, and timelessness. Since 2016, he has served as Creative Director of Molteni&C.

Completing the Timeout Collection is a large low table in two widths, for versatile, intimate or convivial outdoor living spaces. It picks up on the aesthetic motifs of the collection such as the burnished aluminium band, profiles and rounded corners. The support bases, obtained from the continuous run of the same band, are set back from the top to make it visually lighter, as if suspended.
