At the heart of each apartment lies the Prime kitchen, crafted in exquisite natural stone and wood veneer, embodying the unmistakable excellence of Made in Italy manufacturing. Gio Ponti’s D.154.2 armchair captures the architect’s luminous spirit and masterful approach to form with its embracing, sinuous silhouette. The iconic armchair was born from a deeply personal project, the Villa Planchart in Caracas (1953-1957) - the private residence of art collectors Anala and Armando Planchart, which they commissioned Gio Ponti to design from top to bottom as both the architect and the interior designer.
Nautical furnishings had long been a source of fascination for Gio Ponti when he was commissioned to design an armchair for four ocean liners and two cruises between 1949–1951: the Conte Grande, the Africa, the Oceania, the Conte Biancamano, the Andrea Doria and the Giulio Cesare. His creation, D.151.4, appeared on each, with slight variations in design to match the ship’s interior. This piece captures the spirit of refined travel, blending timeless style with thoughtful ergonomics.
A history-making 1973 design by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni&C, Monk reemerges with this exclusive re-edition, part of the Heritage Collection. Available both as a versatile chair for the dining area and an armchair for the living room or bedroom, Monk is defined by its pared-down aesthetic that highlights the expressive qualities of leather against solid wood.
The Aster coffee table by Vincent Van Duysen is the ultimate expression of compositional rationality and craftsmanship. A unique object made entirely by hand, it is a contemporary work of art that combines aesthetics and functionality. Each table has a slightly different connotation, testifying to its handcrafted nature.
Originally designed by Gio Ponti between 1954 and 1955 for his own home in Via Dezza in Milan, the D.555.1 small table is a refined testament to the architect’s enduring design legacy. This piece, that never reached the mass production at Gio Ponti's time, is faithfully reproduced by Molteni&C from original archival drawings.
The Barbican chair by Rodolfo Dordoni embodies refined versatility, designed to complement a wide range of interiors with timeless elegance. The chair's thoughtfully proportioned silhouette balances comfort and sculptural shape, offering both open and armrest-equipped variations. Every line, curve, and surface has been considered to create a chair that is as visually engaging as it is inviting.
Gio Ponti’s D.847.1 desk expresses the essence of refined innovation, blending sculptural elegance with practical design. Its distinctive curved top, inspired by the graceful form of an airplane wing, introduces a sense of lightness and movement, while the subtly rounded drawer front hints at Ponti’s flair for reinterpreting tradition with modernity. This piece, originally designed in 1947, is emblematic of his design legacy.
The Gliss Master by Vincent Van Duysen redefines the art of organization with a wardrobe system that combines bespoke tailoring, refined materials, and thoughtful design. Conceived to adapt seamlessly to individual needs, it transforms storage into an elegant ritual. Every component, from doors and shelves to accessories and finishes, can be personalized, allowing each Gliss Master to become a unique reflection of its owner’s style.
The Prime kitchen is for those who approach cooking with a youthful and dynamic spirit. Crafted for ease of use, Prime’s continuous finger recess gracefully traces the entire length and breadth of the cabinetry, extending elegantly onto the side panels. This thoughtful detail replaces traditional finished sides, offering a nuanced canvas for personalization while inviting intuitive, ergonomic use.
