DUNA

Inspired by the shifting rhythms of desert landscapes, Nicola Gallizia’s design for the Duna rug translates the impermanence of sand dunes into a refined textile form. Capturing both movement and stillness, Duna is designed to bring warmth and harmony to contemporary interiors.

The rug is woven from wool and bamboo fiber, their differing thicknesses creating a subtle relief that recalls the furrows left by wind across the sand. This nuanced surface offers depth and tactility, turning light and shadow into part of the design. Modular in composition, Duna achieves a decorative effect that is both understated and striking, complementing a wide range of interiors with effortless sophistication.

Handcrafted using the traditional tufting method, each rug carries the imprint of artisan skill and attention to detail. The palette draws on warm, natural tones of Ivory, Tobacco and Anthracite, enhancing the rug’s sense of balance and serenity.
