New Collection

Molteni&C presents its new ideas for contemporary living, created by the most prestigious names in international design: Vincent Van Duysen, Jasper Morrison, Ron Gilad, Rodolfo Dordoni, Patricia Urquiola, Tobia Scarpa, Dante Bonuccelli, Nicola Gallizia, Foster+Partners, Michele de Lucchi and Gio Ponti, along with two re-makes of designs by Werner Blaser and Yasuhiko Itoh from the Molteni Museum.

Molteni Heritage Collection

After the Gio Ponti collection, successfully re-produced since 2012, Molteni&C is re-examining its own history with an eye to the future. Great new classics, unique pieces that can step straight out of their museum showcases and into our contemporary homes.

design Gio Ponti

Designed by Gio Ponti and produced for Altamira, an American company founded by the nephew of the Spaniard De Cuevas, it was displayed in the company’s showroom in New York, along with furniture by Ico Parisi, Franco Albini, Carlo De Carli, Ignazio Gardella and others, chosen from among the most representative exhibitors at the 10th Milan Triennale.

“It was thought that architecture should be purely functional, with very little margin for decoration. But the Italian genius could not help but create architecture with a more human face, which we call the Latin touch”.

Between memory and experimentation

A system of lines, with a soft and flowing design, signs the rythm of Miss, the chair by Afra and Tobia Scarpa from 1986. Molteni&C focuses its attention once again on the masters of architecture and design with a re-make project of this object, that has its roots in the craft tradition, yet is still modern even after 30 years.

"Knowing how to build is a debt to technique. Knowing how to give a meaning to things I create is a debt to logic required by the forms." Tobia Scarpa

Design Vincent Van Duysen

Paul is a set of elegantly proportioned sofas with reassuring lines, elements that emphasize Vincent Van Duysen’s expressive rationality. The project includes linear sofas, angular compositions, chaises longues and islands, all with a single seat cushion.
