MEET VINCENT VAN DUYSEN
PROTECTION IS SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE ALL NEED AND THAT IS SOMETHING THAT I WANT TO TRANSLATE INTO MY ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN WORK.
After earning a degree from the Sint-Lucas School of Architecture, Ghent, he worked with Aldo Cibic in Milan, followed by a collaboration with Jean De Meulder in Antwerp, Belgium. In 1989, he established Vincent Van Duysen Architects.

ELAIN ARMCHAIR VINCENT VAN DUYSENFrom the outset, Van Duysen has defined a close relationship between architecture, interior, and product design, allowing subtle transitions between these disciplines to shape his projects and guide a constant search for essence. Through pure, tactile materials and a deep respect for context and tradition, his work results in clean, timeless spaces that prioritize sensory experience, functionality, durability, comfort, and an aesthetic that deliberately avoids fleeting trends.
Van Duysen is the recipient of multiple awards, including the Flemish Culture Prize for Design, Belgian Designer of the Year, the Henry van de Velde Lifetime Achievement Award, and an EDIDA for Best Interior Designer of the Year. His name has been featured on Architectural Digest’s AD100 survey and the Elle Decor A-List on multiple occasions.
Van Duysen was appointed Creative Director of Molteni&C in 2016.
