ORTHAL

The Orthal cabinet system by Vincent Van Duysen is conceived like an architectural drawing with sharp edges and clean geometries that establish a disciplined aesthetic. The modular system offers an array of configuration possibilities, ranging from open elements to closed modules available with glass or wood doors.

The two can be combined to respond to various spatial requirements, supporting both storage and display. Inspired by the Greek word orthos, meaning straight and exact, Orthal expresses a design principle based on alignment and measure, and a controlled relationship between structure and use.
