LIVING BOX

Inspired by monumental architecture, Vincent Van Duysen’s Living Box single unit translates the grandeur of buildings, concert halls, and monumental spaces into a sculptural, domestic object. Designed as a self-standing furniture element, it combines elegance with versatility, offering a refined storage solution for contemporary living spaces. Living Box transforms storage into an architectural statement, balancing practicality with a cinematic presence in the home.

The Living Box form is defined by its low, expansive silhouette, available in four widths, with surfaces crafted from marble and selected woods. Its iris and pewter frame, slender from above yet substantial from the front, encloses the interior with striking clarity.

Sliding “Stripe” doors, framed in wood with central glass panels, create private sections while maintaining the composition’s light, elegant rhythm. Optional integrated LED lighting enhances the sculptural presence, casting a warm, refined glow on the inner surfaces.

The interior invites discovery, echoing a “magical cave” through thoughtful design and materiality. Curved corner covers and a flexible arrangement of drawers allow for effortless display of art or personal items while maintaining clean lines and a sense of openness.
