Debra Lehman Smith is the founding partner of LSM, established in 1991. The firm’s accolades include awards for design, workplace, and real estate strategy excellence from British Council of Offices, the American Institute of Architects, and Architectural Record.

LSM’s work has been featured around the world in Interior Design Magazine, Wallpaper Magazine, Abitare, and Domus. Ms. Lehman Smith was named Designer of the Year by Interior Design Magazine and inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame.

She is an advocate for public art and design education and has served as an advisor to universities and institutions worldwide, including the British Library Architectural Library Trust, the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations Industry Advisory Group, and Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
