"The design task is to create an object which balances mankind's functional and existential needs."
Matteo Nunziati, born in Bologna in 1972, opened his own studio in Milan in 2000. The Nunziati Studio carries out interior architecture and design, collaborating with leading furniture, lighting and object design companies. Matteo Nunziati’s design approach provides an exchange between interior architecture and product. It has found its place in Italy’s design history, but also in Molteni&C, which is a company that embodies this kind of concept. When his projects are carried out they can be defined as interior design, such as the first Trump Toer in India in 2012.
Matteo Nunziati has won several awards, including the Good Design Award 2011, the Wallpaper Design Award 2011 and the Cityscape Awards 2013 - Saudi Arabia for the best architectural project. He is specialised in designing luxury hotels, wellness centres, SPAs and residential projects. He has created project in Italy, Switzerland, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Maldives, and China. Some are still under construction.
