With the opening of the new Molteni&C|Dada Boutique in Bogotà, in partnership with Schaller, the Molteni Group continues the strategic expansion of its South American sales network.
The building is located in one of the most exclusive areas of the city, in Calle 81, the street that hosts leading international furnishing brands. El Nogal, situated between avenues 7 and 15 and between streets 75 and 84, owes its name to an impressive walnut tree in that area. The building dates back to the 1940s, when Bogotà was expanding. Surrounded by design outlets and eateries, the building changed purpose several times over the years and has now become the headquarters of the Molteni Group.
The over 200 sq. m space of the new Boutique develops over two levels linked by a broad staircase. It is inspired by the architecture of a family mansion, where living areas converse with dining areas that open onto a spacious and visually impressive VVD kitchen. The night-time area features the Gliss Master collection in various finishes and compositions.
The space is defined by alternating volumes and heights while an interplay of lights and colours defines the various rooms. The new Boutique showcases some of the most recent Molteni&C|Dada collections by Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen, the creative director of the two brands, as well as items by Gio Ponti, Rodolfo Dordoni, Ron Gilad, Patricia Urquiola and Nicola Gallizia.
