MEET DESIGN

The Molteni Group, with its outstanding entrepreneurial history and authentic Made in Italy designs, has always focused on developing dialogues with new worlds, exploring history and geography in an attempt to capture the connections between things, supporting precious talent and tapping into contemporary desires, all in an attempt to understand the needs of consumers and businesses. These are the shared objectives of MEET DESIGN, which was created to promote a culture of ideas, design and creativity. Molteni&C and Dada are contributing to MEET DESIGN beginning with MEET SHOW, a travelling exhibition entitled “Design, an Italian story”, with several products that represent their collaborations with the masters of Italian design. These include the Monk chair by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, designs connected to the collective memory of living, such as the Milano chair and the Providence sofa by Aldo Rossi, numerous designs created by Luca Meda, including the Risiedo chair and the Vivette armchair, and those born from the partnership between Aldo Rossi and Luca Meda, including the Teatro chair and the Piroscafo bookshelf as well as the Who chair by Rodolfo Dordoni.
